Every question in the CyberVadis questionnaire includes built-in help content to guide you through what is being asked and what evidence is acceptable. You do not need to know the answer off the top of your head: the help content is designed to be read as you go.
Where to find the help content
Help content is displayed directly beneath each question, and additional guidance is available under each individual control within the question. Read both levels before answering, the control-level guidance in particular often clarifies what specific evidence is needed for each selectable option.
What the help content covers
The help content is structured in levels:
Category level - explains the broader security domain the question belongs to and why it is being assessed. This gives you context for the question before you look at the specific controls.
Question level - provides a plain-language explanation of what the question is asking, what an acceptable answer looks like, and what types of evidence are relevant.
Control level - gives specific guidance for each individual control within the question, including examples of evidence that would support that control.
Using the comment field
If you want to add context to your answer, for example, to explain why a particular control does not apply to your company, or to clarify the evidence you have uploaded - use the comment field available within each question. Our analysts read these comments during the review process and will take them into account when scoring your response.
If the help content does not resolve your question
If you have read the built-in guidance and still cannot determine how to answer a question, contact your account manager or account.management@cybervadis.com. Please include the question reference number and a brief description of what is unclear, this helps us respond quickly and accurately.
