How long does the analysis take? What happens after I submit?

Find out what happens to your questionnaire after you submit it, how long the expert analysis takes, and what to expect when your scorecard is ready.

Stage 1: expert analysis

Your submission is passed to a CyberVadis cybersecurity analyst who reviews your responses and supporting evidence in detail. The analysis begins with an initial review: a basic check to confirm that the questionnaire has been sufficiently completed and that supporting documentation has been attached where required.

If the analyst identifies any issues at this stage, your account manager will be in touch with you shortly to help you resolve them before the full analysis proceeds.

Once the initial review is cleared, the analyst evaluates whether your declared controls are credible and supported by documentation, and assigns scores across the four functions: Identify, Protect, Detect, and React.

The analysis process takes approximately 3 to 6 weeks from the date of submission.

You do not need to take any action during this period unless your account manager contacts you. If our analysts require clarification on any of your responses or evidence during the full review, they will reach out via your account manager.

Stage 2: notification

Once the analysis is complete, you will receive an email notification confirming that your scorecard has been published and is ready to view. You do not need to check the platform repeatedly while you wait.

Stage 3: accessing your results

Log in to the CyberVadis platform at app.cybervadis.com to access your results. You will find two outputs:

  • Scorecard: a detailed breakdown of your cybersecurity performance across the four functions, with strengths and risk areas identified at the topic level

  • Improvement plan: a prioritized list of recommended actions, each with an expected impact on your overall score

Use the scorecard breakdown to identify specific areas of strength and pinpoint where to focus your improvement efforts first.

If the analysis takes longer than expected

If you have not received a notification after 6 weeks, contact your account manager at account.management@cybervadis.com with your company name and submission date. They will follow up with the analysis team on your behalf.
