Your progress is saved automatically

The questionnaire autosaves as you work. You do not need to manually save your progress, if you close your browser, lose your connection, or need to step away, your answers will be waiting for you when you return.

You can complete the questionnaire across as many sessions as you need, and you can answer questions in any order. There is no requirement to work through it from start to finish in a single sitting.

How long does it take?

Completion time varies depending on three factors:

  • Company size - larger organisations with more complex security environments typically have more questions to answer

  • Documentation readiness - if your policies and evidence are already prepared and easy to locate, the process is significantly faster

  • Cybersecurity maturity - companies with more established security practices tend to have more evidence readily available

As a general guide: if your documentation is ready, expect to spend two to three days completing the questionnaire. If you need to gather documentation as you go, allow additional time.

Marking questions as complete

As you finish each question, use the green toggle at the top of the question page to mark it as "Question Completed." This helps you track your progress and is required before you can submit, the questionnaire can only be submitted once all questions have been marked complete.

Your deadline

You must submit your questionnaire within 20 days of receiving access, or by a specific deadline agreed with your client. For information on how to track your deadline and request an extension if needed, see [Questionnaire deadline: how to track it and request an extension].
