Your scorecard is published - what happens now?

A friendly guide to everything available to you now that your CyberVadis scorecard has been published, from understanding your results and downloading your medal kit, to sharing your scorecard with clients and working your improvement plan.

Written by Ana Nikolaeva

You have received your email notification and your scorecard is live on the platform. Congratulations - the hard work of completing the assessment is behind you. Here is everything you can do now and how to make the most of what CyberVadis has to offer.

1. Read your results carefully

Your scorecard is more than a number. Log in to the CyberVadis platform at app.cybervadis.com and take time to explore:

  • Your overall score between 0 and 1,000

  • Separate scores for each of the four functions: Identify, Protect, Detect, and React

  • A topic-level breakdown of your strengths and risk areas

  • Your Performance Report — an Excel file with the full detail of every question, response, evidence, and scoring outcome

The topic-level breakdown and risk areas are where the most actionable information sits. Do not focus exclusively on the headline number, understanding the detail is what will help you improve.

See [Understanding your scorecard and the CyberVadis scoring scale] for guidance on how to interpret your results.

If you have questions about a specific score or believe there has been an error, see [I disagree with my results or have questions about them].

2. Download your medal kit

If your score is 700 or above, you have earned a CyberVadis medal. Your medal kit, including a digital medal and a completion certificate, is available for download directly from your scorecard on the platform.

If your score is below 700, a participation badge and completion certificate are still available for you to download, no request needed.

Share your achievement with your team, your clients, and your network. If you post on LinkedIn, tag us - we would love to celebrate with you.

3. Share your scorecard with your clients and partners

Your scorecard is ready to share with any number of clients and partners directly from the platform, no limit on recipients. This is one of the most valuable outcomes of the assessment: complete it once and reuse your results across all your client relationships, replacing repetitive individual security questionnaires.

Log in to app.cybervadis.com, click Share scorecard, and enter the email addresses of the clients and partners you want to share with.

If your clients have asked to see the supporting evidence behind your scorecard, you can update the sharing settings for individual documents in your document library.

4. Start working your improvement plan

Your personalized Improvement Plan is published alongside your scorecard. It contains a prioritized list of security improvements your company can make, each with specific implementation guidance and an expected impact on your overall score.

Start with the highest-impact actions and work through them at a pace that suits your team. Your clients can see your progress in real time as you move actions through the plan, demonstrating that you are actively improving, not just resting on your results.

5. Plan your reassessment

Once you have made meaningful progress on your improvement plan, a reassessment is the way to get your improved security posture reflected in an updated scorecard. Your annual subscription renewal includes a full reassessment entitlement. If you want to update your score sooner, an additional mid-subscription assessment is available.

A note on your subscription

An active subscription is required to access and share your scorecard. If your subscription lapses, you will lose access even if your scorecard is still within its validity period. Keep your subscription active to maintain uninterrupted access to your results, improvement plan, and sharing capabilities.
